Some of you may or may not know that I am musician. First and foremost I might add! Music/singing/songwriting is my baby. My baby that I will hold near and dear to heart and watch grow. My music has taken the backseat for a few years.... but I see now how meant to be that break was. With that being said, I can't help but feel the pull of the universe bringing me creativity, drive and motivation. Now is the time. There is a time and place for everything. It's vital. And the time is now. I can feel it. While Dominick ( my most handsome huz) was gone selling this summer, it was perfect opportunity for me to get the ball rolling again. 

Any free time I had between clients ( I do hair to pay billz) I was on my computer writing. This new ep is going to be a big deal for me because I feel like my heart and soul is more involved. This new music will have my fingerprint more than ever. I took the time to get Abelton (a recording program) and learn that shit. It wasn't easy. And I stilll don't have it mastered. But the point is it's more than just a song I write on piano or guitar and take to a producer and we create it. This time with me doing preproduction, I feel as though I have more creative control of the final product. It's easier to portray my vision to the producer.  This release and your guys response is huge for me. I plan on releasing the first single "Fly Like A Birdie" hopefully by the end of November. Then I will start a kickstarter to raise money to record the rest of the songs for the ep! And maybe even get a new video in the works:) You can purchase my first album from years ago here.

Can I just say how much I love Hype Machine? How much I love Spotify? It took me while to get on board with Spotify, the whole 10 dolla holla, and now I'm like WHY THE HELL HAVE I NOT HAD THIS MY WHOLE LIFE? ANY ALBUM ALL THE TIME? ON EVERY DEVICE? Yes please. And thank you. Although sometimes random songs are missing (the best ones at times) but worth every penny. And can we talk about how easy it is to send people songs?! I need everyone I love to be on spotify because I swear one of my love languages is showing people music. And trust me, it will be thee best song , and exactly what you need at that point in your life. It's a strange gift.. But spotify radio sucks. Pandora, your still the winner. 

Hype Machine is the best for finding new music, being current and knowing whats being passed around at the moment. I've found soo many dope artist on the rise. Obsessed.
