CARROT CAKE SMOOTHIE
Sometimes you crave cake. Sometimes you crave carrot cake. Especially when fall rolls around... and sometimes you can satisfy that craving with a smoothie. CAKE IN LIQUID FORM!! YAS. That's what this smoothie is, liquid cake. It is sooo delicious and creamy, while still being healthy, vegan and low sugar. Plus it's super simple. Let me know if you try it out! ✨🙌🏼🥕🍰
Carrot Cake Smoothie
vegan | gf | df | nut free | low sugar
1 1/2 cup cubed ice
1 cup plant based milk
1/2 frozen or fresh banana or 1 cup steamed then frozen cauliflower for ultimate low sugar )
2 small/medium raw carrots cut into 2 inch pieces
1 scoop vega vanilla protein powder
1tbs chia
1tbs flax
1 tbs coconut butter (could sub cashew or almond or sun butter)
1 inch knob of ginger (or 1/2 tsp ginger)
1/8 tsp clove
1/8tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp uncut Stevia (or date or sweetener of choice)
2 pinches of salt
Blend it all up!
I topped mine with coconut flakes, cacao nibs, pumkin seed, sunflower seed and raisins 😋 You could also use a 1tsp of pumkin pie spice instead of spices listed above as well with similar results :)
